2. Why did you start playing ukulele?
My dad signed me up for a ukulele lesson and I liked it

My favorite song to play is Tokada

6. What is the best thing about the ukulele?
You can strum chords, pluck melodies, and even tap on it like a little drum. You can also add your voice. It’s like a bunch of instruments in one. Small and can take anywhere
7. What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is Black
8. What is your favorite food?
Fried chicken, mom’s curry, dad’s steak and pasta
9. Do you have any hobbies?
Basketball
10. If you could describe the ukulele in one word, what would it be?
Peaceful
11. What was the first song you learned to play on the ukulele?
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
12. Do you play any other instruments besides the ukulele?
No other instrument
13. What type of ukulele do you have (soprano, concert, tenor, baritone)?
I have soprano. Beginner ukulele?!
14. Have you ever performed in front of an audience? If so, what is it like?
Yes. I played in front of my class and for my family, who live far away via FaceTime. I get nervous playing front of people but it’s worth it when I see them smile and enjoying my music
15. Who or what inspires you to keep playing?
My mom loves when I play she says it’s really soothing and makes her feel calm and happy. Ms Gina, she’s good at ukulele, makes learning fun and makes me feel proud of my progress. When my Kumu plays in hula class, it sounds so amazing that it makes me want to practice and play like that someday
16. What’s the most challenging song you’ve learned?
12th ave is the most challenging song I’ve played
17. Do you prefer playing solo or with others?
I like playing with others because it creates fuller sounds. Layers of different ukulele sounds excite me. The atmosphere is nice
18. Do you have any achievements or proud moments (both musically) you’d like to share?
Proud moments: scored 22 points in a basketball game!!! Yay! Ukulele: memorizing tokada.
19. Do you have a dream ukulele you’d like to own someday?
My dream ukulele is a Koa ukulele because it looks nice
20. What advice would you give to someone who is interested in learning or playing the
ukulele?.”
Just try it. It’s smaller and easier than a guitar
